At Pettitts animal adventure park I gained valuable skills in interacting with customers. Every day I greet and communicate with customers in a pleasing and helpful manner. I work hard to provide the best service possible for customers by putting as much thought and care as possible into everything I make for them. I do what I can to accommodate customers and their needs, be they dietary or otherwise. I am extremely careful when it comes to dietary requirements, especially allergies as I want all customers to enjoy their food safely and worry-free. My other main strengths are teamwork and effective communication. At Pettitts, especially during very busy times all the team members have to work effectively together to be able to serve long queues of customers as quickly as possible. At Pettitts, I have to efficiently communicate with my team members so we can know who's making what order and prevent orders from being made twice. When working the till I have to communicate with whoever is preparing the food so they can be aware of any changes and dietary requirements. While doing the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award, I learned how to work successfully and effectively in a team. I acquired the valuable skill of efficiently communicating with the team members to reach our targets. The silver Duke of Edinburgh was also arduous and demanding. But because of that, it taught me to work and push harder to achieve my goals. I have very good attention to detail, making sure that all the foods I prepare at Pettitts are made correctly and to a high standard. I also make sure to fill out all forms at Pettitts accurately and precisely and I am good at keeping an eye on all the stock levels. I make sure that anything that's about to run out gets immediately re-ordered. I am extremely careful in the mornings when filling up the cash register. I continue that care throughout the rest of the day when handling change. Most days, I open and close the ice cream parlour by myself, ticking off everything on a form that needs doing before I can open or close. At Marsh insurance, I had to have very good attention to detail when calculating very large sums of money for insurance purposes. I also had to have good customer care skills when writing emails to customers. I am extremely clean and tidy. Throughout the day at Pettitts I help to keep all the areas spotless through constant cleaning and tidying. When the health inspector came on the day that I was working we were awarded a rating of 5, which I am extremely proud of.

Work experience

Pettitts animal adventure park - Ice cream parlour and costa coffee hut worker.Working the cash register and interacting with customers. Preparing sundaes, cold and hot drinks, ect... Serving cakes, ice cream and pastries. From March 2023-Current.

Oxfam books and music store. - Volunteer. At Oxfam I spent my time filling shelves, helping the boss take inventory and interacting with customers when working the cash register. I also helped customers choose, find and buy items. From Jan 2019 - Jun 2019.

Hockering church of England primary academy. - Work experience. At hockering primary school, I helped the children with their work and assisted the teacher with her everyday tasks. Throughout the day, I tidied up the classroom and cleaned up after the children. From July 2019-July 2019.

Marsh insurance. - Work experience. At Marsh, I helped with the filing and dating of documents. I also helped to write emails to clients and to calculate large sums of money for insurance purposes. From July 2019-July 2019
