I am a hardworking, articulate and determined young working professional who has grown up with a keen interest in all things outdoors. I am seeking a career or position with its fair share of trials, challenges and things to learn. I love learning and apply myself flexibly to many different environments and pride myself on becoming an asset to the team or place of work. I see every day as an opportunity to show what we are made of, showcase the best of our abilities and learn from our mistakes to make a better tomorrow. 

I took my first steps into the working world by working weekends as a volunteer at Cycle Penistone during 2015 alongside my education which later lead on to a paid full-time position on apprenticeship.

• Passed CYTECH level 2 Bike repair and maintenance.
• Handling bike sales and customer questions.
• I lead 1 to 1 bike maintenance classes for customers. 
• Maintaining and repair of shop bikes for hire and customers bicycles.
• Ordering stock and completing stock checks.
• Recycling and salvaging parts and bicycles from a community restoration scheme set up with Barnsley council.

Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstance I ended up needing funding for my place to live at the time, I needed to pursue a different path and began my CYTECH apprenticeship at my place of work which I had held from high school working as a volunteer on weekends.

I was sent down to Staffordshire to complete my qualification and returned fully qualified and continued working with Cycle Penistone CIC until 2018
