• Customer Fibre Installations: Proficient in utilizing both overhead and underground PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) to deliver seamless customer connections.
• Fibre Fault Diagnosis and Network Testing: Conducting extensive external network testing to identify fibre breaks, joint issues, and physical damage in large outdoor fibre networks. Leveraging OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) testing to accurately locate and repair faults.
• CAT 5/6/7 Cable Termination and Testing: Skilled in terminating, testing, and certifying copper cabling using Fluke testing equipment.
• Infrastructure Installation: Experience with traywork and conduit installation for routing network cabling within construction, retail environments, and MDUs (Multi-Dwelling Units) on behalf of Virgin Media.
