About David Glossop:

I'm 53 years old and have held my Class 1 LGV  licence for 30 years. I have had driving jobs since 1987 when  I was employed by a local garage as a valet two weeks after passing my driving test. I've  been involved with road transport since 1991 when I was given my first job driving a 3.5 tonne Transit van on general haulage.

Experience

I can drive and operate many different types of vehicles, trailers and plant machinery such as tippers, low-loaders, road sweepers, 360° excavators, loading shovels and dumpers due to working as a low-loader driver for a large, local demolition firm for 15 years and working in several different types of haulage. I have done some European haulage but unfortunately I do not hold a current passport.

Sandhurst Comprehensive. September 1980 to May 1985.
