Previously, I honed these core competencies at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, where I supported significant policy development that has had a lasting impact on the community. My education from the University of Otago lays the foundation for my ability to navigate complex political landscapes and contribute meaningfully to New Zealand's emergency management strategies.

I am an experienced policy and strategy advisor with over six years’ experience working across New Zealand’s central government. My work has spanned health, education, emergency management, and economic recovery, where I’ve led the development of national strategies, advised ministers, and coordinated complex cross-agency projects.

I bring a strong track record in evidence-based policy design, stakeholder engagement, and analysis. I’ve co-led national workshops, negotiated with senior leaders, and collaborated with partners. My approach is inclusive, analytical, and impact-oriented.
