HNC in Computing and IT and Business, CompTIA A+ 2020 ce, MCSA Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Certified | IT Technician | IT Support Volunteer seeking my first entry-level position in IT. I have a passion for all things tech. I looking to put my skills to the test while learning something new in this ever-changing Industry. At the moment I am looking for the right kind of experience. Exposure to Microsoft Windows in a professional setting, exposure to ticket systems and service systems. I am also open to an internship.

My personal IT experience

 

  • used the cd-rom slot with an adapter to add a primary ssd
  • clean install of a laptop to Windows 10 Pro. It was previously Windows 7
  • Installed open office suite
  • using oracle virtual box to create a windows 10 and CentOS 7 image with preinstalled software
  • Printer setup with wireless printing
  • Manual setup of IP Addresses as needed
  • operating systems knowledge: Windows 10, CentOS 7,  MacOSX, Android
  • replaced the laptop CPU cooling fan
  • Installed Windows 10, CentOS Virtual machines
  • Created a share volume on my pc, linking it to my virtual machine
  • Disk imaging via Clonezilla using network book
  • changed power cable for the battery inside the laptop · hdd to ssd upgrade ·  lenovo x1 carbon linux centos disk imaging
  • replaced laptop screen(it was damaged).
  • upgraded the wifi and ram on my laptop.
  • setup an additional router to improve wifi signal in my SOHO
  • added switches to all rooms to connect more devices
  • setup and use of remote desktop from laptop to Desktop
