About David Sakho:
After office based work for over 32 years, in 2011 I decided to retrain for a career in renewable energy, which had always interested me. I was advised to obtain some electrical qualifications first, and I began training to do electrical work at In Phase Training in Boundary Street, Liverpool.
I have worked as an electricians’ mate or improver since August 2013, mostly in the commercial and industrial sector.
I obtained my City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in 2015, I obtained my 18th Edition certificate in December 2020. I am planning to take my NVQ and my AM2 examination in the near future to qualify as an electrician.
I am very keen on renewable energy, and I hope to go on and work in the full range of renewables, solar, wind hydro, geothermal and electrical transport, including EV charging points. I have obtained certificates in solar panel installation and wind turbines.
