About Divya SALEELA:

With my strong background in Medical Image Processing and nearing the completion of my Ph.D. thesis, I am confident in my ability to contribute to the success of your organization. Also, I have completed MSc in Computing by research at the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. Moreover, I completed my Master's and Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering in 2010 and 2004, respectively. In addition to my research experience, I have also gained valuable skills in project management, team collaboration, and communication through various academic and non-academic activities. Also, my decade of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Engineering Colleges in India and my PhD in Medical Image Processing with distinction on coursework at Kerala Technological University, India, have developed a strong reputation for my ability to engage students in the classroom and foster a positive research-oriented learning environment.

My doctoral research focuses on Automated Brain Tumour detection and Progress Prediction, and I have extensive experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. I have designed and implemented research studies, collected and analyzed data, and presented findings at conferences and in publications. I have published my research on computer-aided brain tumour classification and progress prediction in two SCIE journals, one Scopus journal, three IEEE conference papers, and one Springer book chapter as a potential part-time PhD candidate. I am also a peer reviewer for reputed journals, including JMI. I have a strong background in programming languages, particularly Python, Python R, SQL, and Google Cloud Infrastructure. I'm particularly interested in using ML and AI in healthcare and e-commerce. Recently, I completed a project entitled "Automatic Sales Prediction" using machine learning models as part of my master's research curriculum. These experiences enabled me to develop a career that combines teaching, programming, and research while maintaining my interest in computer-aided medical diagnosis and the broader STEM field. As a research fellow, I am committed to producing high-quality research and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in my field. I am a detail-oriented and organized individual, and I am confident that I will thrive in the fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Also, I am equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively teach computer science to high school students. Additionally, I have gained hands-on experience through various internships and projects, which have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of programming languages, algorithms, and software development. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to engage and inspire students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. As a teacher, I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of my students, utilizing creative approaches to make complex concepts more accessible and engaging. By incorporating real-world examples and problem-solving activities, I aim to ignite curiosity and cultivate critical thinking skills among my students. Moreover, I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which I have honed through my experiences as a Researcher and Assistant Professor. I am adept at building meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering open lines of communication and collaboration. I strongly believe in the importance of teamwork and actively seek opportunities to contribute to a supportive and cohesive faculty.
