Experience

Having spent 12 years teaching higher and HNC sociology, criminology and research methods in an F.E. college, I now teach sociology with an online tutor company and work as an appointee for SQA in the sociology higher.

Prior to this I was a psychiatric nurse working with CAMHS, Addictions Service and In-patient mental health. 

I think my prior training has provided me with many transferable skills which suit one to one tutoring.

Education

I have a nursing degree from my previous role and received a first class honours Bsc from QMU in sociology and psychology. Immediately after graduating, I attended the University of Stirling and achieved the Pgc Teaching Qualification for Further Education (TQFE) - social sciences.
