I am a motivated, friendly and professional person keen to rejoin the workforce after retiring from the NHS as an Orthoptist for 33 years. I truly believe that vision is our most important sense and that is why I took on this career. I am able to assess, diagnose and treat eye problems. 
 

I have excellent social and interpersonal skills that can be transferred to any new role. Looking for a new challenge with the possibility of learning new skills in any job.  

33 years experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with eye problems such as amblyopia, strabismus, nerve palsy’s and other eye disorders. working in general, neurological clinics as well as instant access acute emergency receiving clinics. I have used auto refractors, Goldman visual field perimeters and Hess charts for plotting ocular muscle imbalance. I pride myself in having excellent interpersonal communication skills.
