I have been working in development finance for over 10 years, covering bank financing projects across different regions, including Caucasus, Central Asia, South East Mediterranean and lately EU countries. I am passionate about working in multicultural teams and enjoy dynamic and target driven working environment. • Co-led several investments in bond issuances across EU region. Notable examples: 
  • Co-led EUR 20m investment in first SNP bond issuance by one of top banks in Hungary
  • Participated as principal team member in 2 synthetic securitisations in Czech Republic and Poland worth EUR 100m (guarantees for senior mezzanine tranches)
  • Participated in EUR 40m investment in green bond issuance by a Turkish bank, with focus on the review of the client’s green bond framework and SPO, preparation of the framework agreement as well as interaction with treasury and risk on the bidding strategy
• Prepared guidelines for internal use, summarising approval process of investments in green bond issuances by client banks, subsequently placed on EBRD intranet
• Co-led provision of EUR 100m senior non-preferred (SNP) loan to one of top 6 banks in Poland for on lending to green residential energy efficiency projects
• Participated in EUR 20m investment in inaugural RMBS in Kazakhstan

covering South Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region

• Led two debt transactions in Jordan worth $30m from initiation to project signing
• Led first EBRD transaction in West Bank (Palestine) from origination to on site due diligence completion, pricing negotiations, securing Risk Department endorsement, Operations Committee and Board approval, preparation of legal documentation  

covering Caucasus & Central Asia, Associate Banker (Apr ‘13 – Jul ’15); Analyst (Feb ‘11 – Mar ‘13) 

• Played key role in over 20 debt and equity investment deals across 5 countries
• Coordinated project work among EBRD Legal, Compliance and Risk departments, and liaised with client top-management, including CEO/CFOs and key members of exec teams
• Completed 3-month “field” Banking rotation in the Azerbaijan office in 2013, providing temporary cover to an Associate Director vacancy
