About Eliza Walls:
Geography BSc graduate from the University of Bristol. I am a highly organized and professionally trained individual with excellent interpersonal skills developed through my time at university, as well as through wide-ranging experience in client facing roles in hospitality and client relations, amongst others. Excellent administration skills developed whilst spending time as an honorary research assistant and onboarding specialist. An enthusiastic and diligent team player, able to adapt and work in a variety of different situations, under demanding conditions.
Experience
During my time with Praxis Research, I was involved in the development of sense-making workshops, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, including community organisations and local government. My excellent communication skills enable me to convey technical information in a clear and accessible manner, making me an asset when working with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies. I successfully demonstrated this during my time as a research assistant at Praxis, where I contributed to a research output recognised by Mayor of Bristol Marvin Rees for highlighting the democratic importance of the work CAOs deliver, aiding the One City Approach in continuing to bridge economic and social divides. I developed my skills in management and operations during my time at WorldFirst, where I was responsible for company administration, the organisation of marketing campaigns, as well as the management of various customer accounts and communications. Through a wide range of work opportunities, from waitressing to IT Support Consultancy, I have developed excellent interpersonal skills and improved my ability to work as part of a diverse team. I have also gained a wide array of practical administrative skills and have extensive experience organising and attending meetings and conference calls, producing contracts, and liaising with customers remotely to deliver web demonstrations. I have successfully developed customer relationships by always responding to enquiries in a helpful, timely and professional manner, consistently meeting the service-level agreement.
Education
Throughout my academic journey, I designed and executed a wide range of interdisciplinary qualitative and quantitative research projects, consistently achieving high grades. My coursework encompassed a broad range of subjects, including environmental law and policy, ecological conservation, sustainable development, and environmental impact assessment. During this time, I developed a strong ability to assess, combine and apply evidence from both the physical and social sciences to respond to real world problems.
