Elsie Brown

Hi, I’m Elsie. I’m currently looking for part time work to fit around my university studies. 

I completed a 2 month paid research internship this summer at Great Ormond Street Hospital over the summer, focusing on delineating the epilepsy phenotype of the 16p11.2 microdeletion. This involved structured information retrieval, application of clinical knowledge, data analysis and communicating between different departments. Before attending university, I worked for 4 years in a bookshop. I gradually worked my way through the company, and towards the end of my time was head of local and international deliveries, carried out general administration tasks and worked in a customer facing role on the shop floor. 

I’m currently in my second year of studying for a medicine degree at UCL. I achieved A*A*A*A in my A Levels, and 8 A*-A grades at GCSE.
