Digital/Interior Design Assistant Oct 2021 - Present

I worked as a digital assistant managing the presence of the company online and across social media channels. The role also encompassed working as an interior design assistant where I aided in decision making for schemes and produced visual material for the clients.

• Created and managed all social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.  
• Planned, created and published Instagram content which resulted in a 40% follower increase over 2 months on Instagram.
• Designed and published the website for the company which included typography and colour scheme selection and consistency across the brand. The website has enabled further client engagement and reach online.
• Wrote all of the material for the website pages which included research into particular companies promoted in store. Also produced copy for social media posts, both of which have been done in the correct tone of voice for the company and has contributed towards more client engagement. 
• Created visualisations of room schemes to aid client decision making, resulting in a faster turnover of work, and attracting more business.

RISE Design Studio

Part 1 Architectural Assistant October 2020 - June 2022

I worked as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, developing and researching design proposals as well as managing a project in my second year at the company.

• I was promoted to be the youngest project lead to manage a house extension from design through to the construction phases. 
• Made executive creative decisions while project managing, whilst also undertaking an organisational role resulting in the expansion of my skill-set and a project completed on time and to an exceptionally high standard.
• Worked to and achieved tight deadlines in line with building construction time-frame.
• Nurtured and prioritised client relationships. I was able to reassure the client, gain their trust and diffuse tensions between client and suppliers, both in written and verbal communication, resulting in an efficiently-run project and a happy client at the end of the project.
• Main point of contact for client and suppliers.
• Had an open dialogue and worked closely with consultants and suppliers from other companies to ensure projects were well-researched and executed to a high standard.
• Ensured that drawings were consistently completed and revised to a great level of detail, the production of which enabled transparency between client and contractor and for deadlines to be met.
• Self-taught and picked up multiple softwares quickly, and used them efficiently in practice.
• Creativity and design techniques learnt in architectural practice are invaluable transferable skills which can be used in other scenarios as a means to problem-solve.
