  • Managing a group of 12+ venue accounts for whom The AC are accredited suppliers and any other website enquiries that come through.
  • Events venue manager for the Westminster Boating Base, handling all event enquiries for the venue, diary management, managing all cleaning and security bookings. Key holder for the venue.
  • Account management, keeping strong relationships with all venue contacts and obtaining feedback following events.
  • Providing quotes within a maximum of 48 hours of initial inquiry for any and all event enquiries received. These must match the clients brief and adhere to the clients vision / needs for their event.
    Creating and updating event sheets with all required information needed for the kitchen, warehouse and office staff.
  • Ensuring all compliance and operational documents are sent and filed.
    Researching suppliers and styling for events including florists, production, specific china and cutlery.
    Helping brief creative menus - researching menu ideas and recipes for specific enquiries, i.e. themed menus, sustainable menus etc.
  • Leading tastings with clients and ensuring their feedback is addressed.
    Creating and managing all event invoices and sending in a timely manner. Ensuring all event completion documents are completed ASAP following an event and all costs are accounted for in order to determine gross profit.

  • Planning a portfolio of varied events for Zara’s Kitchen from point of enquiry to execution.
  • Managing the events enquiry inbox and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Managing client relationships from the first moment of contact to the follow up after an event.
  • Working with clients on bespoke events, gathering a clear brief for the chefs and constructing a clear event proposal document complete with menus and quotes.
  • Using xero to deliver quotes and manage invoices and payments, both incoming and out-going

  • Responsible for leading on the charity’s special, high grossing events, including gala dinners, celebrity dinners, art auction fundraisers and virtual announcement supporter and influencer events.

    Events Coordinator (9 month contract)
  • The coordination and management of all Sotheby’s live events, including VIP dinners, lunches, breakfasts, Cocktails, Late Night Views, Auctions, Dry Hires and all other special events.
  • Managing and coordinating a multiple group tour programme over busy seasons, particularly Frieze Week. This involves scheduling group bookings, allocating specialists to lead the tours and confirming all logistics with Operations, Catering and the various departments.
  • Event reporting and presentation of findings: Presenting information on what bids have been made by which clients following events. Reporting on marketing email sign ups, costings and profits.
  • Supplier Management: Booking in catering and suppliers for events. Briefing all suppliers on health and safety as well as what is required and how for each event. Ensuring correct insurance documents have been checked and are up to date.
  • Research/investigate new caterers, florists, production companies, printers, musicians etc to ensure continuing high quality but cost-efficient events.

  • Supporting in the planning and running of events within the special events programme focusing on raising funds through art auctions, dinners and large scale fundraising parties.
