I am a Buyer with a hunger to succeed in the fashion style industry, always thinking outside the box with my determination never letting obstacles stand in my way. I am creative, imaginative and curious, receiving both Art and Academic Scholarships, and I am not afraid to mix things up by taking risks in order to achieve my goals.

Being promoted from Assistant to Buyer in the space of 3 months, I developed an exceedingly strong rapport with suppliers globally. This experience within the hardware industry has left me with the invaluable skills needed to thrive in a career of Buying and Merchandising. However, my true passion lies in style and fashion, so I am ready to delve into this market and take this step in growing my career in an industry I have such enthusiasm for.

Having always been adventurous, I have a love for travel. Immersing myself in different cultures has enabled me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace different ways of life, exploring the ‘hidden-gems’ of a country, and meeting people from around the world. From the exotic, effervescent colours and tactile fabrics of Asia, to the minimalistic, effortless and elevated appearance in Italy, I have enjoyed exploring the different worldly fashion that influences the style we see in the UK today.

My previous job was as a Purchasing Officer at Bentham Ltd. for their Hardware department. Being promoted from Assistant to Buyer in the space of 3 months, I specialised in buying new and refurbished computers, electronics and an eclectic range of gadgets, for 300,000 customers in both B2B and B2C sales. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to:

• Ensuring a fantastic rapport with suppliers globally, maintaining current relations whilst continually sourcing new contacts.
• Successfully overseeing and advocating new and existing stock lines, negotiating to maximise revenue whilst exceed customer expectations.
• Analysing sales figures, following market trends and carrying out market research in order to forecast future stock lines and volumes.
• Leading key negotiations in order to secure sizeable tenders.
• Liaising with local and international logistics and customs, ensuring the most time and cost effective methods. 
• Reviewing Customer Orders and generating Purchase Orders.
• Adapting to change in demand, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst successfully continuing to honour brand goals.
• Ensuring monthly stock takes are carried out to avoid discrepancies. 

I completed GCSE's and A-Levels to a high standard.

For GCSE's, I studied at Ansford Academy and achieved the following:

3 x A* Grades (English Literature, History and Art), 3 x A Grades (English Language, Mathematics and Religious Education), 4 x B Grades (French, Computing, Biology and Physics) and 1 x C Grade (Chemistry). 

For A-Levels, I studies at King's School Bruton and achieved the following:

1 x B Grade in Art, and 2 x C Grades in History and Psychology.
