I am a Technology Manager at Digital Manufacturing Centre (DMC), a leading provider of additive manufacturing solutions for the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries. As a Chartered Engineer with over 12 years of experience in metal powder bed fusion processes (3D Printing), I lead the technology development and application engineering teams for both Electron Beam Melting (EBM) and Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) technologies.

My mission is to bridge the gap between research and production, and to deliver innovative and high-quality AM products that meet the customers' and stakeholders' needs and expectations. I have a strong background in materials engineering, mechanical design, and process optimization, and I have contributed to multiple published journals as an author and co-author on AM topics. I am passionate about advancing the AM industry, enhancing the design freedom, and improving the performance and reliability of AM products.

• Led the Additive Manufacturing department, overseeing job preparation and fusion parameter optimization for various additive manufacturing technologies, including DMLS/SLM.
• Managed post-processing cycles for parts printed with DMLS/SLM technology, ensuring compliance with technical and quality specifications.
• Liaised with suppliers for basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting, effectively managing anomalies and malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conducted analysis and validation of incoming materials used in the Additive Manufacturing department, ensuring quality control and adherence to standards.
• Prepared validation jobs according to internal procedures and process studies, utilizing data analysis for continuous process improvement.
• Developed and managed department procedures for additive manufacturing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
• Collaborated with the CAD/CAM office to prepare and develop semi-finished product designs for new products, optimizing designs for additive manufacturing.
• Worked closely with the Head of Machine Shop to implement continuous improvement initiatives in the production process, driving efficiency and quality enhancements.
