Major role in the setup and ongoing growth of this foreign owned company operating commercial activities in Indonesia under Indonesian law. Managed land purchase, leased office premises, established robust financial protocol, procured a VOIP/internet supplier and developed a sound operating model (HR/admin/sales admin/accounting). Leader of a multinational, +100-strong team of sales and marketing managers, with indirect accountability for local sales staff and a marketing call centre team. Scope includes P&L ownership.

 

  • Key impetus behind on target business start-up, liaising with government departments and stakeholders to ensure operations were in line with required business propriety and regularity, including company registration and licences.  
  • Growing the business, from zero to US$24m t/o pa in 2020 (monthly sales of US$1.5m-US$2m), by devising a highly effective, well-targeted sales and marketing strategy, incorporating digital, telemarketing and networking.

Reported to CEO of holding company. Day to day scope included reporting/analysis, forecasting, training, forecasting/prospecting, marketing/promotions and people management. 

 

  • Key driving force behind the Regent Vacation Club acquisition (US$1m per month), increasing club inventory and accelerating cashflow, enabling further portfolio growth.  
  • Increased average sales volume of the Regent Vacation Club by 50% within just 4 months having transformed the sales and marketing department leading to doubling of leads.
