I am a multidisciplinary designer from Bath who specializes in print design. Drawing is at the core of my creative practice, and my work frequently engages with narrative and story-telling traditions. Through my exploration of fabric and the interplay between the viewer and the artwork, I am able to transform illustrative designs into large scale immersive textile installations

I am a highly responsible, positive and friendly person who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. 

Having recently graduated from Chelsea College where I studied BA Textile Design (part of the University of the Arts of London), I am naturally creative and understand the importance of design and visual communication. Due to my extensive education focused in art, textiles and print I enjoy responding to challenges and coming up with creative solutions.

I have experience in both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I also have extensive experience with screen print and have worked on numerous projects in printing studios. These include creating my own range of colour dyes (both natural dyes and producing chemical dyes in a dye lab), designing and exposing screens to print with and playing with digital/ mimaki textiles print.

Experience

I worked for 2 months at a summer camp in Canada, Camp Tamakwa, where I assumed the role as the Arts and Crafts Activity Leader. In this role I prepared and delivered an engaging creative curriculum to groups of children. Everyday I planned 5 separate creative lessons, each lasting hour-long periods, which included activities such as landscape painting, comic book making etc. 

Education

I am a recent graduate from Chelsea College of Arts (part of the University of the Arts London) where I studied BA Textile Design and received a First Class Honours. While studying at Chelsea I specialised in Print Design and primarily focused on large-scale illustrative screen print, creating immersive installations which often explore the concept of narrative and storytelling (especially fairytales and folklore). By subverting these tales and presenting them in new ways and from different, often modern, perspectives I was able to create work that seems strangely familiar.
