Ezra Carlson

A multi-skilled entrepreneurial and transformational senior leader who is accustomed to disruption, is technology-savvy, with sound business judgment. Ezra brings a unique combination of experience and perspectives from 25 years of corporate consulting and advisory to large global blue chip organisations, serial entrepreneurship, and board service overlaid with academic research into maximising and unlocking the strategic value created through corporate venturing.

Dr Carlson believes science and technology can change the world for the better by leveraging the entrepreneurial ideas of early and growth-stage businesses.  Ezra values collaboration and strategic partnerships used to continually challenge the status quo to find new ways to make impactful change. He brings a unique combination of perspectives from his corporate and startup experience overlaid with his research into maximising value created for the new venture and Corporate VC and VC/PE investors.

Ezra is a multi-skilled senior leader who is accustomed to disruption, is technology-savvy and has sound business judgment.  He has ten years of combined experience reporting to various boards as the founder and CEO, Company Director, NED, Trustee and Chair of Trustees, and various Committee roles (corporate and voluntary). He is also a serial entrepreneur and currently the founder and CEO of a Digital Health company.

In parallel with this Ezra has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 25 years of engineering and management consulting/advisory experience to blue-chip S&P 500/FTSE 100 organisations across multiple industries, defining, and executing ambitious growth strategies, digital transformation, pre/post-M&A integration, driving through complex end-to-end change across cultures, processes, sectors, departments, and jurisdictions.

BSc (Hons) in mechanical engineering, MBA in strategy and leadership and a doctorate in corporate venturing (DBA).
