About fahim ali:
I underwent training for BSc Audiology at De Montfort University. Currently, I work under Boots Blackpool/Clevelys. prior to this I was An audiologist for Specsavers for almost 4 years. I am an active individual who likes to show commitment and dedication at everything that I carry out and continuously strive for excellence; this is evident throughout my career at Specsavers during which I have gained recognition for having the skills to work with people from varied backgrounds and provide a person-centred approach for them to be satisfied with the purchase and service. Prior to this, my part-time role as a sales consultant for Carphone Warehouse, allowed me to work as part of a team and individually to meet objectives has enabled me to demonstrate the ability to remain focused under pressure and exceed targets.
The attributes gained within my role at Specsavers has enabled me to put essential theory knowledge I have learnt to practice. For example, to ensure patients understand tests to be conducted and explanation of results, putting them in control of making their own informed decision. Even more valuable was developing my interpersonal skills in order to put customers best interest first and encourage people to embrace new technology. My multi-lingual ability allows me to effectively communicate with patients of various backgrounds.
I have also had the privilege of building on my skills with a NHS setting, during my various placements throughout my 3-year degree.
My organisational skills are excellent, allowing me to be efficient in completing tasks to achieve my outcomes and leaving a lasting impression due to my positive approach. I have a good sense of humour, working well with others as a team and adapting to handle different situations such as conducting pure tone audiometry testing with a patient that suffered from Wolfram Syndrome.
I am reliable, trustworthy and try and use my initiative to work on my own proactively. Also, I aim to challenge myself in day-to-day activities to define my attitude within my work environment to develop into a more confident and capable professional to make an impact in my role.
