Working in a fast-growing food service business providing vegetarian and vegan products to food service industry and Keeping control of circa £1m worth of stock. 

  • I was responsible for the stock control of all the stock, managing all inbound deliveries and replenishments. 
  • Forecasting the supply and demand to prevent running out of stock. 
  • Submitting purchase orders to various suppliers globally to place orders to replenish and maintain adequate stock levels. 
  • Managing & maintaining contract & price agreements with suppliers 
  • Overseeing the storage of our products in warehouse, dealing with temperature-controlled products (Frozen & Chilled) 
  • Co-ordinate and carry out regular stock checks & audits. 
  • Liaise with the warehouse staff and ensure product quality & correct storage. 
  • Trained warehouse staff to maintain stock inventory, manage stock rotations to balance inventory of perishable products and minimize wastage.

  • Oversaw physical organization of storage facilities to maximize capacity while keeping areas neat and orderly.
