National career diplomat currently  seconded to the European Union. 

I currently serve as the very first European Union Spokesperson to the United Kingdom. Member of the Delegations’ management Team and close Adviser to the EU Ambassador, I direct strategic aspects while leading a team of 5 colleagues and coordinate with around 100 professionals across various on-going projects in different countries. I design, supervise and execute all media and communication aspects, with deep emphasis on strategic communications in numerous policy areas in compliance with policy priorities. I communicate with internal and external stakeholders to customise policies and methodologies and shape narratives. I manage budgets and lead procurement procedures whilst delivering outstanding results in complex political environments.

Previously (2014-2019),  I served with the Italian Foreign service  as Head of Press & Cultural Affairs at the Italian Embassy in London, where I was also part of the Brexit Task Force. Between 2011 and 2014 I was at the Italian Embassy in Islamabad. There I developed effective strategies to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Italy and Pakistan. Researched local market landscapes, identified new opportunities, and evaluated complexities in the region. I achieved contracts of numerous defence and aerospace projects worth over €300million for major Italian companies. Directed and managed a high calibre team of 60 people and incorporated efforts to enhance the skillset and performance of professionals. Instituted an effective network of high-level contacts within Federal and provincial governments and maintained strong relationships with international organisations, diplomatic community, and local business owners. Monitored 2013 General Elections and analysed the process as the EU Election Observer. I also:
 Delivered remarkable support to the foremost Italian oil & gas firm in acquiring 7 new licenses for initiating exploration and production services in Pakistan that resulted a solid output increase of 226,4 (mmcf/d).
 Established contracts worth over €200M for an Italian petroleum company.
 Inaugurated 3 new companies in the market and accelerated sales of Italian products by 15% across
automotive and mechanical sectors.
 Initiated effective efforts to drive an essential change in Pakistani legislation considering the interests
of Italian company, saving operations worth over €100M.
 

Prior to the above I was at the Italian MFA between 2009 and 2011, worked at the UN as a Junior Professional Office in Montreal Canada in 2008, at the EU institutions in Brussels from 2003 to 2007 and as a Corporate lawyer between 2001 and 2003.
