About Fizza Naveed:

I am a hardworking and committed HR professional. I have a track record for success from working within large corporations across different business units. I have coached line managers on probation reviews, dismissals and absences. I have also managed sensitive right to work cases and executed HR inductions and training. I am currently working in a standalone role and solely responsible for my own area of the business. I seek to progress my career within generalist HR.

  • I manage and advise on multiple visa cases for all business units of Gallagher including for new hires, current employees, internships, work experience, and international transfers.
  • I manage my stakeholders’ expectations on issues relating to visa timescales, eligibility, costs etc.
  • I liaise with externalcounsel to completevisa applications and seek legal advice on complex cases.

  • I review and update internal right to work check policies in accordance with Home Office changes.
  • I am creating a bespoke immigration intranet page with guidance documents for managers, HR and employees.

  • I carried out monthly board reports for business units relating to absence, starters, leavers, headcount, salary benchmarks.
  • I supported senior HR with ER cases e.g. disciplinaries, grievances, investigations by shadowing the HR Advisor, taking notes, drafting and issuing outcome letters.
  • I carried out exit interviews on leavers of varying seniority and flagged areas of concern to the senior HR team.
