I am a diligent person that has worked in a private school in Nigeria for 8 year as School Bursar/Front Desk. I graduated as an Accounting Student and I used my accounting and administration knowledge in school to work as a school Bursar in a School Environment. My major responsibility when I was working in Nigeria as a Bursar/Front Desk are;

1.Handling of petty cash for the day to day activities of the school 
2.Preparation of School bill for Parents 
3.Writing of cash and payment voucher
4.Preparation of Staff Salary, PAYE and Pension Schedule
5.Preparation of expected income and actual income received schedule
6.Writing of receipts for payment received from the parents 
7.Answering phone, email, and face-to-face customer enquiries
8.Direct customers to online resources
9.Create and maintain reports on customer interactions
10.Attend weekly team meetings
11.Update Parents' records in our system, including notes about conversations and outcomes
12.Present ideas for improving customer care
13. Participate in team-building activities.

When I came to the Uk the first job I could get was Domestic Assistant and for me to survive, I accepted the job with great joy and I have been doing so well in the job. 

I believe that my education, skill-set and experience that I got in Nigeria make me suitable candidate for the vacancy. Possessing more than 8 years of experience of working in diverse financial position with different companies like financial institution and school. I have gained an extensive insight within this field. My key accounting and financial competencies include maintaining financial record, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account reconciliation, salary pay roll and tax compliance.In addition, I have other essential skills and qualities that I have developed through study and various work experience: teamwork and communication, time management, attention to details, customer service and the ability to meet deadlines. I believe that with my positive attitude and strong work ethic, I would be a great fit for the position.You will find me to be a positive, motivated and hard-working person who is ready to learn and contribute to the growth of the organization. Given the opportunity, I would apply myself with enthusiasm to all tasks, ensuring that I get the job done accurately and efficiently.

My related job experience was in Attwool Sunflower School, Lagos, Nigeria and I worked there as a School Bursar and Front Desk for 8 years.

I graduated from OSUN State University, Nigeria, where I studied Accounting. I graduated with Second Class Lower.
