• Non-medical care to patients (personal care, active listening, companionship, meal preparation, home cleaning and transportation to medical appointments and therapy sessions, providing physical and social support, giving out and collecting bedpans, making patient’s bed). 

• Prepare meals according to patient’s dietary needs and proportions and encourage patients to eat healthy. 

• Provision of mobility support (assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs). 

• Assisting in setting up medical equipment. 

• Problem solving with attention to detail, stress management, efficiency and time management

 • Shadowing nurses in dispensing medications, administering treatments and assisting with exercise routines as prescribed by the medical team. 

• Reporting changes in emotional, mental and physical changes and conditions to supervisors. 

• Promote client/patient independence.

 

◼ British Council, Nigeria Contract Staff – Invigilator/Supervisor December 2010 –  

• Completing logs and safeguarding from pickup, transportation and delivery of confidential materials (CM) from British Council, Lagos office to test venue(s) and back to British Council, Lagos office. 

• Installation and troubleshooting of Connect Plus Test Administration and Candidate Software. 

• Exams delivery for IELTS CBT via Connect Plus software. 

• Inspection of venues for paper-based tests for the British Council in different locations/sites. 

• Planning and delivery of international and professional examinations in different locations/sites in the country (Paper and Computer Based Tests), ACCA, IELTS, CFA, VCS Test, Cambridge Assessment International Examinations – (Global International College, Lebanese International School, Day Waterman College)
