June 2002-Oct 202             ABB Ltd ~Contract Work - All UK Sites

ABB are world leaders in the manufacture of metering and control systems for a variety of industrial applications. I provided support for four ABB sites across the UK in Stone, Luton, Nailsea and Milton Keynes. I have worked with four different teams of support analysts supporting the NT servers and Windows 2000 desktop users across the various sites. Latterly based once again at Stone, my role involves all areas of support, including hardware and software. 

Nov  2001- June 2002       Fujitsu Services Contract Work – RAF Brampton

Based at RAF Brampton, I provided systems administration for all locally and remote based NT servers on behalf of Fujitsu Services (formally ICL). This includes daily checks, backups and system housekeeping. I was part of a small team, split across 3 server sites and 2 satellite sites in the locality. All work is carried out in accordance with MOD secure systems policies and service level agreements with Fujitsu.
