Gemma Roberts

I am a hard-working, very driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Currently working as a family link worker as the housing link for my organisation, my work also involves working with families with a range of complex needs.

I am passionate about helping families to thrive and to help support them to over turn hardships they may experience.

Since leaving the NHS where I worked for 15 years, I have found a passion for housing and helping to support vulnerable people in need and to become more independent in eventually managing a tenancy.

Currently, I am the housing link for the organisation I work for, where the majority of my caseload is to help clients with housing issues and supporting families to navigate their way through life and to make better choices.

I have also spent time with the local council and their housing team to see how the system works.

I have just completed level 2 in Understanding Tenant Support in social Housing and level 2 in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace.
