Experience
2024: Admin Officer at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL
- From 25th March to 19th April, I held a short-term position as an Administrative Officer at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. This role was undertaken to support the Easter Blitz, a designated period during which Deputy District Justices are assigned from various courts to address longstanding small-claims cases that have remained unresolved in the system. In addition to assisting the Deputy District Justices during trials through court clerking activities, I was responsible for documenting rulings from small claims and family court trials, ensuring accurate entry into the Department of Justice’s IT database.
2023: Bar work at the Rosendale, West Dulwich
- During the Summer of 2023, I worked at a pub called the Rosendale, which is part of a wider organisation called the ‘Three Cheers Pub Co’. While working at the organisation for 3 months, I undertook multiple roles as a staff team member, from running food to working behind the bar and working on events hosted in venues on the property.
2022: Technical Assistant, Tier
- Before going to University, I spent time doing work for the Electric bike company Tier, helping to move electric bikes and scooters across the City of London.
2021: Supervisor, Dulwich Wood Primary School
- Upon returning to full-time education after the lockdowns I immensely enjoyed volunteering at Dulwich Wood Primary School, helping staff to clear a new outdoor space, and at DUCKS where I interacted with the junior years and helped to supervise at playtime.
2020-2021: Volunteer, Albrighton Community Centre, East Dulwich
- During the Pandemic I undertook volunteer work at Albrighton Community Centre, working shifts at the food bank and helping those in the community who were struggling at the time.
