Currently, I am employed as a healthcare assistant while pursuing a Masters degree in International Public Health. In addition, I have previously served as an assistant psychologist for Friendship Bench, an organization in Zimbabwe that offers counseling services predominantly to young adults. As I work in the healthcare field, I have noticed the striking similarities between these two professions. Therefore, the chance to secure a position as a psychology assistant within your organization would provide me with a great opportunity to further expand my knowledge and skills.

As a healthcare assistant, my primary responsibility is to support nurses and other medical staff in providing exceptional care to patients. This includes assisting with patient check-ins, measuring vital signs, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, assisting with personal care, and maintaining accurate patient records. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and provide a comfortable and safe environment. Additionally, I strive to build strong relationships with patients and their families, offering emotional support and ensuring their needs are met. Through my role, I contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of patients, working diligently to promote their health and recovery.

I am currently pursuing an international Masters degree in Public Health. This program offers me a comprehensive understanding of global health challenges, policies, and strategies to promote population health and well-being. Through my studies, I am gaining knowledge in various areas, including epidemiology, health policy and management, environmental health, and social and behavioral sciences. It provides me with a solid foundation to critically analyze public health issues and develop effective interventions to address them. Moreover, this international perspective equips me with the skills to work in diverse cultural contexts and contribute to global health initiatives. By undertaking this degree, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on public health outcomes and improving the overall health and quality of life for individuals and communities worldwide.
