Hammed Olajide

I have a year of experience providing support to impaired and partially disabled people. My job roles and responsibilities were to help them with chores, provide holistic care, and help them get by in their day-to-day lives. I'd like to advance my career in this field by gaining experience at one of the country's top care homes. 

My abilities to communicate effectively with my clients and build a healthy relationship with them while maintaining confidentiality and compliance are a few of my strengths. Working with people from diverse backgrounds has provided me with a deep understanding and awareness of differences in culture and beliefs. These qualities will help to support the organization's mission while reflecting positively on the professionalism and competencies of its employees. 

Support job, to me, means providing services to humanity. Supporting people living with different physical disabilities and mental health issues while helping them reach their full potential by living a dignified and fulfilling life makes me an accomplished person. It makes me feel like I am giving back to society in the little way I can. It is something I love doing, helping, and caring for people. I am also a hard-working, reliable, trustworthy, and selfless person. And I understand the job role is primarily focused on enabling or supporting people to live their lives as independently and happily as they can. This I will do by providing emotional support and ensuring they are living a fulfilled life.

I studied Computer Science at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria, graduating with a second class degree upper. I am currently enrolled in a Masters's degree program at Robert Gordon University, where I am studying MSC Cybersecurity.
