I have spent the last six years as a primary teacher in various countries. I taught for one year in Chicago, then five years in the Czech Republic. During one of my years in the Czech Republic, I assisted in opening a new bilingual school.

I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Wheaton College in Illinois, and am currently studying for a Masters in communication and journalism at Cardiff University.
