About Heidi Thurstance:

I have good communication skills and I am a friendly kind person who is enthusiastic to learn and grow. I have always gained satisfaction in helping people to achieve their goals and deliver the best care and support I can in a person-centred approach. I feel passionate about people having the same rights as each other regardless and I feel I have a calming nature to support children within their education. I have a holistic approach and have a wide caring background where I feel the skills I have learnt are transferable to the job that I am applying for. I am a quiet person by nature, but I can be assertive and I have been able to deal effectively in emergency situations. I have been able to support children with their behaviours using de-escalation techniques and restraint if really needed. I have a really good knowledge of safeguarding and I am able to correctly report any concerns. I am able to maintain positive relationships with the children in my care. I give 100% to any job I undertake and look to further my career.
