Hannah Baker

Currently I am in Third year university studying for my bachelors degree in Zoology. during my degree I have learnt valuable skills in computing such as using Microsoft Excel, word and PowerPoint as well as R Studio. I have also learnt key field and laboratory skills that will help me to collect and analyse data effectively. On the side I am also a Waitress currently at Center Parcs. My role includes, being able to communicate effectively between team members and customers, providing excellent customer service and having good knowledge of allergies and general cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant and bar. I have a strong passion for working with wildlife and the environment, having volunteered at Peak wildlife park during my university course, and would love the opportunity to get to work within the zoological/ecological job sector to show my knowledge and skills as well as learn new valuable ones.

So far, I have had numerous jobs working with customers and in hospitality and catering. I have great communication and team work skills and I'm confident in working independently and tackling any new obstacles that come my way. 

My most relevant education is my Bachelors degree in Zoology. I complete the degree this year in July 2024. The degree covers a wide range of environmental factors, from paleoenvironment and evolution to animal behaviour and zoological principles as well as ecological modules such as studying modern day problems caused by humans to the Earths planetary boundaries, and biological topics such as stem cells ageing and cancer. the degree covers a large portion of topics allowing me to develop skills and gain vital knowledge of many different environmental sectors.
