- Self produced social media content, video and photography coverage of major fundraising events such as the Mendip Challenge.
·Developed relationships with A1 Camera Club to generate professional photography content at no cost. Volunteers are given an enjoyable environment, which has been strategically designed.

Previous roles
II have spent the past four years working for Weston Hospicecare over a number of roles. I have progressed from volunteer filmmaker, to part time Press & Social Media Officer, to a full time Communications Officer before taking on my current role (Senior Communications Officer) where I am responsible for all MarComms assets, projects and support delivery.
Previous to that I worked on a freelance basis delivering content to clients on a brief-by-brief basis. I worked for The Stable Creative Hub, Weston Town Council, Weston Museum and Broad Community Trust among others.
Senior Communications Officer, Weston Hospicecare April 2021 - Present
To lead Weston Hospicecare’s Communications Team which supports the charity’s income generation/cost saving and people recruitment through Marcomms opportunities, leads on brand awareness and protects brand health.
- To create and manage the communications strategy with the Director of Fundraising and Communications.
- To manage Weston Hospicecare’s social media channels in line with channel strategies created with the Director of Fundraising and Communications.
- To be the manager of Weston Hospicecare’s website, working closely with external website developers, ensuring that the content and functionality of the website is fit for purpose.
- Be the first point of contact for press enquiries and to involve the appropriate manager/team member with each request.
- To update the blog with various stories from throughout the hospice - To manage press cuttings archive
- To innovate and implement new Marcomms opportunities.
- To act as brand manager.
- To develop and oversee stakeholder marketing campaigns. - To develop patient literature.
- To report on and analyse all aspects of Marcomms to measure impact, inform new content, and improve opportunities.
- To monitor the marketing budgets, updating management on variances and contributing to reforecasts as required
- To manage the library of resources including photos and videos for use across a range of communication forms, overseeing photoshoots and sourcing and editing accordingly.

- To maintain relationships with volunteers to help support the operation of Weston Hospicecare’s Comms Team.
- To work with the Director of Fundraising & Communications for the annual planning and budget process.
- To keep informed of sector-wide developments, attending external training and conferences where appropriate.
