Hey my name is Haytham and I'm 18, I'm the proud owner of the top GCSE scores in my year, navigating the world as a hospitality assistant in the charming town of Clitheroe, previously being a cashier assistant in Accrington. Beyond my flair for serving, I find solace and challenge in the digital realm, being a self-taught polyglot in various computer languages. My creativity takes a visual turn as I immerse myself in drawing lifelike surrealistic portraits. When not tethered to screens, I'm on the move—whether pounding the track and field in a competitive run, or purposefully diving into unnerving situations. Quick acclimatisation is my forte, proving that adaptability is not just a skill but a way of life.

My professional journey unfolds as a dynamic narrative, starting as a cashier assistant in an Accrington takeaway from 2019 to 2021. Transitioning to a more compassionate role, I embraced the challenges and rewards of work experience in a care home in Hyndburn. The evolution continued as I stepped into the vibrant world of hospitality, becoming a valued assistant at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe from October 2023. Each chapter in my work experience has not only refined my skills but also enriched my understanding of diverse industries, leaving me with a tapestry of knowledge and adaptability as of yet.

Navigating the halls of Burnley College from 2021-23 presented challenges beyond textbooks for me. In the pursuit of A-Levels in Art, Psychology, and Biology, I found myself grappling with subtle biases due to my race, soft and kind nature and eating disorder in an environment that skewed towards the majority. The journey was an intricate dance, with the difficulties of acceptance and understanding layered onto the academic rigor. Despite the adversity, marked by the toughest period of my life, I emerged with what I thought was an unfortunate ABB, only realising later it was a testament not only to my academic resilience but also to my ability to transcend societal expectations and present myself authentically in a landscape that wasn't always welcoming.
