a confident, bubbly individidual. Over the last 3 years due to my experience in many different settings I have been able to gain invaluable transferable skills such as active listening and communication skills. In my spare time I like to stay fit my going to the gym and doing charitable runs such as the Race for Life. Due to the nature of my degree, I interact with the public often and therefore have been exposed to many different types of settings in which I am able to adapt to efficiently and effectively by changing my tone, mannerism and body language depending on who I am speaking to.

My time at M&S allowed me to engage with all type of customers ranging from children to the elderly. I was able to communicate well and effectively with all customers by taking orders, serving food making hot drinks. I was able to quickly adapt to each customer by making and serving hot drinks of which they asked for, learning how to use the coffee machine efficiently whilst being safe was imperative but also allowed my hospitality skills to grow immensely. I worked during busy holiday periods which allowed me to adapt to working well under pressure whilst ensuring the customer received the best experienced. Working well within a team was crucial in the café, it allowed my teamwork skills to grow by knowing where and when I could use my strengths to help my colleagues.
