Ian Hinchey

I am very experienced within Agile software development, delivery and success. Having previously worked as a Product Owner within three teams (three backlogs) in medical software, I am no stranger to making empirical business-critical decisions.

Worked within DevOps for 3 years previous holding very good technical troubleshooting abilities, architecture knowledge and experienced with delivering technical solutions to problems.

Currently working as a Senior Business Analyst, with additional responsibilities to fill gaps where necessary.

I've worked in IT for around 20 years on and off. After completing my HND in Computing and System development, I started as Technical Support Analyst worked up to Solution Delivery, then CloudOps then DevOps. After delivering several projects, a Senior Product Manager asked me if I'd be interested in working along side her as Product Owner/Business Analyst Hybrid which I accepted. I knew the role very well by that point and hit the ground running. Recently moving from Product Owner to Senior Business Analyst was not much of a leap for me, I'm comfortable designing technical solutions and developers always give me brilliant feedback and enjoy working with me as I can understand switch between technical and business mindset. Plus my current role is above and beyond Business Analysis, as the sole liaison between business and development my extensive knowledge I've gained from studying other roles helps me alot and I fill many other gaps.
