About Ian Ransome:

Over 25 years’ experience in exploration and mining in Africa, as well as the North American continent and the middle East. Previously held the positions of COO and CEO of the TSX listed Diamond Fields International Ltd. A professional geologist and a Qualified person in terms of both the JORC and NI43-101 reporting regulations. Involved in numerous multi-year exploration programs ranging from Guinea, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Madagascar, Liberia, Nigeria, Namibia, Angola, Central African Republic, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, as well as successfully running off shore marine diamond mining in ML111 in Namibia, which produced circa half a million carats of diamond during my tenure. Served as the Principal Geologist and interim CEO of the ASX listed World Titanium Resource Ltd. which was responsible for the discovery and development of the World Class Ranobe Titanium deposit, which was sold to the Australian ASX listed company Base Resources Ltd. for US$85 million. Also responsible for the first compliant resource statement for a deep-water marine deposit (the Atlantis II SEDEX deposit), and the reconvening of the joint Saudi-Sudan Red Sea Commission, and the issuance of the first deep water mining license. Responsible for the pioneer discovery of the Balatindi Au Porphyry deposit in the Republic of Guinea (1 million oz).

Due Diligence and resource verification of the Gaoua and Labola Gold deposits, Mali (grade verification/duplicate sampling; verification of QA/QC protocols; resource modelling.

Evaluation of Anyankyerim, Kyereboso and Pokukrum East and West Gold deposits, Ghana: Data verification; resources models, Reserve definition; Preliminary Economic Studies of the deposits.
2018 – 2023: Principal Consultant Geologist Global Gems (Hong Kong);

Dala Project Angola. Airborne and ground/Drone magnetic surveys; ground gravity surveys; 15, 000 metre core drilling program; KIM probe analyses; Alluvial bulk sampling program; 5,000 metre auger drilling programs; Drone LIDAR and Magnetic surveys, Geological mapping; Exploration management of US$8 million exploration budget; NI43-101 reporting.

Koidu Kimberlite Project, Sierra Leone; Management of a US$5 million exploration program; Gound geophysical surveys, stream and soil sediment sampling programs for KIMs; 4,200 metre core drilling program; micro-diamond analysis and grade correlation;

Paisama-Mint/Dagma Au Projects Nigeria; Assessment of mineralisation style and alteration envelopes, structural mapping of shear zones, review of exploration data and NI43-101 technical reporting/recommendations.

Assanko Au Project, Ghana – review of exploration data, independent resource analysis and conversion to reserves, desktop PES assessment.


Ndjole Mn Project, Gabon. Prospect generation, license acquisition for client, environmental permitting, negotiated working accord with pre-existing forestry company; managed exploration US$1.5 million grass roots exploration in country; Litho- tectonic mapping, soil sampling and QA/QC programs, trench sampling programs. NI43-101 technical reporting.
2017: Consultant World Titane Holdings;

Toliara Ti Sands, Project, Madagascar. Mapping of extent of the resource, QA/QC control sampling, mineralogical studies, definitive resource model, co-authored Definitive Feasibility Study (JORC code).
2016: Consultant Geologist Gondwana Resources Ltd.;

Flammefjeld Porphyry Mo (Au, Ag, Cu) Project, Greenland. Project mapping, systematic chip sampling of Porphyry Mo breccia zone, channel sampling and structural/alteration study of Au bearing fissure complex, NI 43-101 technical reporting and exploration recommendations.
2016 – Interim CEO World Titanium Resources Ltd. ASX.

Commissioning and supervision of final aircore drilling programs, commissioning of Pre-Feasibility Study, site engineering studies, initiated initial acquisition negotiations with Rio Tinto and Base Resource Ltd., and Permitting with Ministry of Mines, Madagascar.

Field evaluation program of the Betha Graben Cu deposit, Northern Dugway Range, Utah: litho-tectonic mapping; systematic chip sampling and soil sampling programs, alteration mapping, underground mapping and sampling, integration of historic data.

Field Assessment of the Ruby Violet Mine, Wah Wah Range, Beaver County. Mapping of alteration and lihto-structural controls on the formation of red beryl (rubies); assessment of historic drill, sampling and aeromagnetic data. Reporting non-compliant resource estimate and potential for resource development.

Apredor Project, Republic of Guinea; managed and supervised a US$3 million exploration program for primary and secondary Diamonds Milo River; programs included KIM sampling (soil & stream), Trenching, Bulk Sampling, evaluation of the K22 kimberlite; 3000m RC drilling program.
