About Tushar Kharabanda:
I am a disciplined MSci cancer sciences student with a solid foundation in methodologies and techniques employed in biopharmaceutial research due to my year and a half of experience. I have a strong aptitude for precision, critical thinking and innovation in modelling complex biological systems; with hands-on experience working with in-vitro co-culture models of oncogenesis and interrogating in-silica models derived from these experiments to generate and test novel hypotheses. My commitment to a high standard of academic achievement is evidenced not only by scoring a first class in the BSc portion of my degree and my research poster being highly commended, but by achieving competetive grants from the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the University of Nottingham. This has led to submitting an abstract for the Pathological Society and securing a prestigious role with GSK’s oncology translation research team as an industrial placement student for my integrated masters.
