I am Rubina Kumari, a Web Developer and UX/UI Designer with a passion for transforming digital landscapes through elegant and user-friendly designs. My journey in this field began with mastering basic coding and has evolved into developing sophisticated applications, balancing creativity with technical precision. I've worked as a Trainee Web Developer at La Fosse Academy, where I excelled in a 12-week training program and led projects to successful completion. As a Freelance UX/UI Designer for 2 Empower U, I reimagined a podcast website’s visual identity, improving usability by 12%. I've developed notable projects like 'Culturify' and 'ProgFolio,' focusing on user engagement and accessibility. My education in Optometry at the University of Plymouth honed my problem-solving skills and attention to detail, which I apply in my tech projects. At La Fosse Academy, my 12-week intensive training focused on key web development and UX/UI design skills. In Front-End Development, I mastered HTML and CSS for crafting responsive designs and leveraged JavaScript for interactive elements. I became proficient in React/Redux, enhancing my ability to build dynamic user interfaces.

In Back-End Development, I developed expertise in Node.js and Express.js for robust server-side solutions. I managed databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDB, handling complex data structures and queries. This equipped me to integrate both front and back-end technologies seamlessly, creating comprehensive full-stack applications.

My UX/UI design skills were sharpened using tools like Figma, AdobeXD and Miro for wireframing and prototyping, ensuring user-friendly designs. I also honed my project management abilities, utilising tools like Trello and practicing Agile methodologies to lead and collaborate effectively within teams.
