Over a decade of expertise in the life sciences industry, spanning diverse sectors, emphasizing the utilization of biological data to drive translational research globally. A proven track record of over four years in constructing user-centric analytical and data platforms.

At Our Future Health, an ambitious government and industry-backed UK Programme to recruit 10% of the adult population to accelerate the detection of disease, I have held multiple product roles, contributing to the development and management of innovative products and platforms.

In my initial role, I product-led the MVP participant recruitment platform, building a baseline survey to collect health and family history data for pilot studies with a high completion rate (95%) in 3000 UK residents. I designed products and services for primary care recruitment across the UK and provided product support for sample fulfilment and laboratory storage.

I then transitioned to the Trusted Research Environment (TRE) (platform where scientists will access the data for analysis), where I co-led user research, procured the TRE platform, and created user stories and product requirements. I launched MVP and beta platforms, incorporating survey data and eventually NHS Linked data and genetic data.

Currently, as the Product Lead for the Genetic Data - Data Platform, I focus on understanding user genetic data needs and designing MVP genetic data pipelines. I collaborate with data engineers and technical architects to ensure scalable data platforms.

Throughout my career, I have also served as VP of Product at HLTH.network, leading product strategy, and as a Computational Biologist at Novo Nordisk, contributing to programmatic tools for biological analysis. I have a strong background in data analysis and research, including large clinical datasets and genomic data.

As a Research Manager at HLTH.network, I developed statistical genetics and AI/ML pipelines, established partnerships, and explored global business opportunities.

With a strong foundation in genetics and genomics, particularly in psychiatric genetics, I have developed expertise in big data analysis of national-sized datasets such as Genomics England, variant identification, and research methodology. My educational experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to the field of genetics and its application to healthcare.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychiatric Genetics at UCL, my research focuses on identifying and characterizing rare variants associated with neuropsychiatric disorders in diverse populations.

I completed an MSc in Medical Genetics and Genomics at Oxford Brookes University, where my research analyzed copy number variants in twins discordant for Autism in collaboration with Birkbeck, University of London.

I obtained a BSc in Medical Genetics from Queen Mary, University of London. Here I studied a variety of different modules including basic biochemistry, tissue biology and molecular genetics. My undergraduate dissertation explored the structure and function of the Papain enzyme.
