Iosifina Chasiropoulou

As a Computer Science graduate and a postgraduate student at the National Cyber Security Centre of Excellence at Lancaster University, I have developed a strong background in cyber security, data protection, risk management and threat intelligence. Through my past work experience in customer and technical support, I have developed excellent communication and time management skills, and I am able to solve problems both as part of a team and independently when necessary. I am constantly trying to extend and expand my skills outside of my studies, by participating in capture-the-flag competitions, hackathons, and self-learning programs.

Development, configuration, and testing of cloud-based web services (SOAP, WSDL) and RESTful APIs using Java. Configuration of message queueing for asynchronous service-to-service communications using IBM MQ.
Tools used: SoapUI, MQ Explorer, IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit, Eclipse.
