About Iqra Shazad:

I have been a support worker for a couple of years now working with young people and the elderly. I am very understanding towards the needs of those who suffer from mental health problems and who struggle to live their lives due to their mental health. I am very empathetic and patient. I am very passionate about my job role and what I do. I am in this field to make a difference to peoples lives and to deliver support to a satisfactory level to the best of my ability.

Experience

I have experience in working with vulnerable people and people with mental health. I also have experience with case managing. Documenting Case notes and completing a range of different nursing assessments

• Participating ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practice in MH care.

• Assessing service users both physically and mentally and providing accurate information for handover

• Reporting concerns, symptoms, reactions, abnormalities, decline in mental health to seniors.
