Ivy Wijaya

I am a 23 year-old professional with a special love for high-end hospitality and customer experience. My focus is directed towards crafting spatial systems that enhances user comfort through in-depth research that aims to uncover customer’s hidden neurological needs and wants that will be translated onto end-to-end user design, from customer service down to ergonomical and mental comfort. 

I had worked with two international architectural firms as well as a luxury co-living property development firm in Indonesia. I was given the responsibility of carrying market research and predicting current and future trends of contemporary living that is tailoured to pay homage to the city or country in which the hotel / co-living is located in. The results were then used for my team to design a full-packaged experience for its users from architecture, interiors, circulations, natural elements down to furnitures and lighting. However, my passion lies within building relations with clients and customers, understanding their pain points and their vision for an extraordinary hospitality. 

I graduated with a Bachelor in Architectute from Queen’s University Belfast. With this degree comes the need to develop an outstanding communication ability in order to fully understand people, cities and psychology in order to curate spatial and architectural design that elevates one’s ability to tap into the beauty of the present moments. 
It is also vital to be able to convince the juries and professors of radical and disruptive ideas in order to drive your projects forward onto becoming an innovative, once in a generation, state-of-the-art creations.
