Iyas Aliewi

Aerospace Engineering student graduating winter 2024 with a (2:2). Currently looking for a graduate role where I can combine my people skills along with my analytical and problem-solving capabilities, within a client facing role. Throughout my degree I developed problem solving, data analysis, modelling, and CAD software skills. Along with project management, technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills . During university, I worked as a sales associate at Clark’s; where I assisted customers with many requests and helped provide a good experience for them at the store, while increasing sales figures. Being in a customer facing role, made me realise how much I enjoy working with people and facing off to customers. And would therefore like to explore further.

Sales Associate at Clark's, Leicester March 2022 — August 2022

 • Meeting weekly KPIs, selling £100/ per hour and 2.5% shoecare of daily total sales 

• Achieved and met KPI targets through building rapport with customers and delivering a high quality service by assisting with things such as; sizing, availability of stock, online orders, etc 

• Listening to customers' needs and making purchase suggestions tailored to their needs

 • Attended Clarks academy courses to constantly improve knowledge of new products and different sale techniques.

Aerospace Engineering BEng (2:2), University of Leicester, Leicester September 2020 — July 2023 In my final year individual project I collaborated with Flexeserve to analyse and help improve their system's efficiency by studying the air ducts in their insulation panel. The project required consistent communication and reporting back to the company in order to work out the best possible course of action for the panel. 

 Over the years I extensively learnt about a range of different modules which are
