I am a highly resourceful, flexible and enthusiastic individual, well organised, an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively in a complex and busy office environment. I am experienced in coordinating, planning and organising a wide range of administrative activities.
Experience
I have taken a career break (July 2014 - January 2026) due to taking responsibility for my young family. On this break time I have become self employed, done the Private Hire taxi driving, as well as refurbished and sold an Indian takeaway.
My professional experiences as follows
Old Mutual Wealth Management, Southampton, (June 2006 - June 2014) - an international investment, savings, insurance and banking group.
I worked as a Technical Specialist in the UK Business Operation department. This team provided a critical service to all of the company’s business units. My responsibilities included:
- Applied fixes to the pension plans, Bond and Life Assurance policies according to product technical and compliance guidelines.
- Suggested and implemented system amendments where client data was known to be suspect.
- Acted as a consultant on key projects across all business units.
- Identified key risks, escalated and proposed solutions. Update periodic Management Information reports.
- Shared knowledge with supervisor and other team members. Allocated work to other team members based on their level of technical ability.
- Responsible for quality checking according to industry standard.
- Becoming Subject Matter Expert on the miscellaneous adjustment of investment units.
- Responded to the queries, which had been referred to the team from various departments.
- Investigated client’s investment mismatches and test system changes.
- Represented my department at project meetings as required.
- Championed a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Carry out various audits and provide feedback including Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

I worked in the Global Patents Documentation Department and helped to file patent documents for the Patents family of Intellectual Property Department and Serco Custodial.

In this temporary position I received and answered customer queries. Processed daily invoices.
Career break abroad sorting out estate following family bereavement (May 2003 – Jan 2004)
Skandia Life Ltd, Southampton, (June 2001 - April 2003) – a leading investment service company
As a Unit Technician, my main responsibility was to protect and improve the integrity of the Liability Unit database, by monitoring financial error reports and files referred to the area. Identifying the administration and IT system weakness and then made corrections.
Wesley Jessen, Southampton (January 2001 - May 2001)- a leading contact lens manufacturer
I helped reconstruct warehouse data files and processed invoices within the IT system.
Centerprise International Ltd, Basingstoke (February 1998 to November 2000) – a leading computer manufacturer
As a production technician, I built the customise computer’s, installed the various operating systems for the companies such as Ministry of Defence, John Lewis etc. I was also responsible for identifying and fixing the hardware or software errors.

Also, using computers and a range of associated software appropriate to support both my needs as a computer practitioner and the need of management. Part qualified.
