Hello there, I am a student taking a-levels at sixth form and aspire to become a medic in the future. I am looking for a job in which I can work with along studying to allow me to become more flexible, I have work experience from previous jobs in which I left in order to study for my GCSEs. I have efficient communication skills and teamwork skills in which I can apply to my working role from previous jobs and volunteering opportunities which has helped me to develop these skills. Shadowing a dentist had allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the field of dentistry. I observed various dental procedures from routine cleanings to complete extractions. As a result, I gained a greater understanding of patient care/service as I saw how crucial empathy and effective communication are to reducing patients' anxieties. Additionally, I learned information about the management facets of running a dental office, comprising appointment scheduling, documentation, and sterilisation procedures.

My responsibilities involved providing phone support to clients in addition to performing administrative tasks including completing forms, making copies, and scanning. I prioritised the needs of guests while upholding the highest standards of organisation, and I made sure they were attended to promptly.

I handled a variety of tasks, including order packing, cashiering, and customer interactions. This involved me working with other front-desk staff to maximise client satisfaction through teamwork. The work experience has also taught me several skills, such as time management, sales techniques and multitasking. I embraced the feedback my manager gave me as an opportunity to improve my skills further, which allowed me to receive higher positive reviews from clients.

As a current A-level student, I think it's crucial for me to have this job since it helps me in many ways, including being financially independent, preparing me for future occupations through work experience, and developing my growth of potential abilities. Due to my commitment to working throughout the summer, it may also help me manage my time more effectively.
