I am a positive and presentable individual who works hard, communicates well, and has excellent interpersonal skills. I believe that I will have a positive impact in whatever I am involved proving to be an incredible asset for all organisations – especially in clinic based situations. I have recently graduated from Leeds Becket University achieving a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy and currently seeking employment.

Podium sports massage (university placement (2020-2021)

• During this placement I was responsible for treating clients on a 1-2-1 basis providing them with treatments relevant to their injury/problem. This job gave me great satisfaction as I was having a positive impact on someone else’s life by helping them recover from a problem they had. This required: 
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • The ability to take in detailed notes relevant to the client.
  • Problem solving. 
  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating clients using the skills and knowledge gained during university.

Mossley Hill Athletic sports therapist and pitch side first aider (university placement (2020-2021)

• This placement seen me treat all players of a football team administering treatments to get them ready for their game and to also provide pitch side first aid. This job gave me a great insight as to what it is like to work as a team with the aim of sharing and achieving the same goals. This required:
  • Communication skills.
  • Leadership skills as I had to take control of the team.
  • Teamwork.
  • Correct and precise decision making due to having to make crucial decisions as a first aider. This also required me to have a high attention to detail.
