Professional Experience:
Junior Project Manager, Mars Confectionary - October 2022 – Current
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver the project according to the agreed asset and resource plans, contracted deliverables, and the agreed scope.
- Support Mars in claiming ownership and futureproofing over 3,000 social media pages globally to streamline platforms. Platforms include Meta, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and Thread.
- As the project develops, implement continuous lessons learned to maximise effectiveness when transitioning between different social media platforms.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, considering the direct impact of each element of the project and suggesting amendments where applicable.
- Manage deviations from the plan with the PM and delivery teams without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits and maintain clarity.
Key Achievements:
- Lead the projects deliverables for Europe and US whilst collaborating with internal teams and external agency contractors, which currently will mean we successfully complete the project two weeks in advance of the deadline date.
- Developed a best practice project implementation plan which has been adopted by the business and used company wide, specially to coach new employees in the social media space.
Junior Project Manager, Boscia – August 2021 – October 2022
- Conducting extensive research to qualify and approach potential delegates and speakers to bring them forward in event discussions from the Data and IP world.
- Assist in deploying 9 virtual events, including defining each event scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirement.
- Obtain relevant information to present and coordinate with partners to generate revenue for the company as well as receiving their feedback to summarise event success which was used to drive future events. This led to events having a greater capacity (from 80 to 100 delegates), more partners (15 to 25) and a smoother event day.
- Manage and develop delegate/partnership relationships from initial contact through to event closure acting as the primary point of contact for up to 30 individuals at any given time, whilst also ensuring regular communication and reporting of event progress.
Social Media Manager/Content Creator, 50 Pound Social - April 2020 – August 2021
- Working closely with clients to market B2B and B2C products and services to the appropriate audience – I converted 50% of prospects to clients.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between content creators and key customers. Schedule and organise meetings, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes.
- Managed over 15 social media accounts across multiple markets. My role was to work collaboratively with each company to reach their social media targets. For instance, lead generation, brand creation and increase profile interaction across Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Due to increased reliance from a start-up, I joined their team as an external social media consultant. My role was to build their brand by creating tailored content and managing their post schedule. My work was so successful their Instagram following reached 10,000 in under 2 months.
